Debate Club:”Do all religions lead to the same God?”

Over the summer, we launched a Debate Club as a space for thoughtful discussion around big questions about God, life, humanity, and worldview. We invited participants from our essay competition, along with others who were interested in exploring these topics more deeply.

In our most recent session, held at our office last month, we tackled the question:
“Do all religions lead to the same God?”
Approximately 20 participants joined us for this engaging and thought-provoking discussion.

The format was simple yet powerful. Each person declared their position, then engaged in a two-minute debate with another participant—either supporting or challenging the topic. This approach encouraged respectful dialogue, clarity of thought, and the use of reasoned arguments supported by facts.

The purpose of the debate was not to “win” but to practice sharing one’s perspective with respect and objectivity, while also listening and learning from others. As each pair debated, the rest of the group took notes and prepared for their own contributions.

We heard a range of views. Some held firmly to their original stance, while others reconsidered their position—recognizing that different religions often present fundamentally different understandings of God, each with unique attributes and teachings.

We are hosting this club monthly, and we’re excited to see it grow. We welcome anyone who’s open to engaging in deep, honest conversations about faith, belief, and truth.

Please pray with us—for guidance, wisdom, and open hearts and minds for everyone seeking truth through these conversations
