On October 26th, we launched our new ministry season with great anticipation. We were honored to host two friends from Ohio as guest speakers: Jason Hutchcraft, a pastor, and Bob Grover, an elder from their church.
Nearly 50 people attended, and Jason delivered a strong defense of why belief in God remains rational today. He highlighted that while science has made incredible progress in explaining the how of the universe, it cannot answer the fundamental “why” questions. Without belief in God, he argued, it becomes difficult to account for objective morality or the deeper meaning of life. The audience engaged with thoughtful questions, particularly on topics like the Crusades and religious conflicts. Bob then shared his personal testimony, which was impactful and left many in the audience reflecting deeply, sparking meaningful conversations afterward.
After the event, we had the opportunity to connect with attendees over coffee. Keep them in your prayers as we continue to meet each of them.
